Hello world!
I’ve always loved to write, I think I’m funny kinda, plus I’m super passionate about this one life we all have to live. I’ve always been driven to do my best to live a positive mark on the world while I’m on it. Hopefully when all is said and done, I hope it can be said that I did.🤞🏾
I am a designer by profession, well actually a design researcher. I literally fell (okay not quite literally) in love with design many years ago, and just like any true love story, I never looked back, cause as I learned more, I realized, not only did I love it, I loved the opportunity it gave me to actually dig into problems that human beings encounter and then work to find a solution. Like, that’s my day job! Do you see what I mean? Do you see how lucky and blessed I am to have found it. Oh wait, there’s more! I am African. Yup, born and bred in west Africa. Do you know the continent? That virgin land?, the one that’s inundated with problems waiting to be solved? Yup! That one.
So I just KNEW this- being a design researcher- was what I meant to do.
So, naturally, after design school (hello SCAD!) I returned to Nigeria and started a design research firm. Oh boy! That’s when the story gets really interesting!
